What's the coolest thing about your job?

That everything we do ultimately helps many many people - not only docs but also their patients. With a ripple effect to the people the patients are around.

What are your favorite things to do outside of your office?


I do all the typical Colorado outdoor activities: hiking, biking, running, skiing, etc. I have a cabin in the mountains where I try to spend as much time as possible. I have recently set-up two beehives in my backyard.

What’s your favorite book or book series?


I love so many books! Favorite series include Harry Potter and Anne of Green Gables. Favorite books include The Sun Also Rises, The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, All the Light We Cannot See and The Book Thief. I've read some great books this year including Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, Goodbye Vitamin, How to Walk Away and Lilac Girls. I also love a good page-turning mystery.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?


Flying. If you can fly you can escape traffic (for the most part), you never have to worry about falling, and can you imagine the view of the world you would have? Breathtaking.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of your office?


I love to travel throughout the United States and to other countries. I've been to 42 states and spent time in nine countries (not including the U.S.). I have many more places to go.



Where is your happy place?


At home, in the mountains, or at the beach hanging out with my husband, son, and dog. Preferably, I have chocolate.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?


Breathe underwater, because scuba diving is super fun, but it's a hassle to schlep all that equipment around, and you have to be super careful and all that. It'd be nice to just be able to swim with the fishes anytime I want.
